A tailor-made project: from development to validation of customised hinge terminals.
During 2024, Eurosnodi developed a dedicated project for a customer, a company active in the construction of hydraulic cylinders for industrial applications. The customer’s requirement was clear: to obtain compact, maintenance-free rod ends with higher mechanical strengths than the standards available in the catalogue.
The process began with a phase of technical analysis and continuous comparison between the customer’s technical department and Eurosnodi’s technical manager Mr Eros Gibertini. Through a constant exchange of data, calculations and construction drawings, Eurosnodi evaluated various solutions: from the adoption of special materials to the revision of terminal geometries. After various simulations, they opted for a customised design that would meet the sizing requirements indicated by the customer, using standard materials optimised to ensure reliability and durability.
The collaboration was divided into successive steps: first the search for the most suitable material, then the development and validation of drawings, and finally the elaboration of a technical and economic offer. The process was concluded with the confirmation of the production of customised rod ends, with delivery of the first supply scheduled and carried out in October 2024.
This project demonstrates once again how Eurosnodi knows how to combine technical expertise, flexibility and listening to the customer, turning a complex request into a concrete and reliable solution.
